List of diplomatic missions of the Maldives

This is a list of diplomatic missions of the Maldives. The Maldives has ties to the Commonwealth and the Islamic world, but does not seek to have an extensive number of foreign missions. The High Commission in London was only opened as recently as 1995 - the High Commissioner died the following year and it took until 2005 for a replacement to present his credentials.

In addition to the missions listed below, there is a Tourist Information Bureau in Germany and honorary consulates in selected countries including Austria, Germany, Denmark and Belgium

In this case, Armenia has no relations with Saudi Arabia whatsoever while it has relations with UAE. So, it can be assumed that Maldives' Embassy in Abu Dhabi is accredited to Armenia

So, it can be assumed that Maldives' Embassy in Abu Dhabi is accredited to Syrian Arab Republic
    11. Accreditation of Maldivian embassy/high commission to this country is assumed under basis of reciprocate accreditation. Since Swaziland has no embassy or high commission in India (nearest big countres from Maldives), it can be assumed that Swaziland Embassy in Abu Dhabi is also accredited to India. Hence, it can be assumed that Swaziland Embassy in Abu Dhabi is also accredited as Swaziland's non-resident high commission to Maldives
