Maksym Buzhanskyi
Maksym Arkadyevich Buzhansky (Ukrainian: Бужанський Максим Аркадійович; born November 24, 1974, in Dnipro) is a Ukrainian pro-Russian politician and blogger.[1][2] People's Deputy of Ukraine IX conv. from the party "Servant of the People".[3] He is best known for his anti-Ukrainian and pro-Russian statements, views, and bills.[4][5]
Biography
He was born on November 24, 1974, in Dnepropetrovsk in a family of engineers . Grandfather - Moses Yuri Buzhansky (born 1924 in Kharkov) - a participant in the German-Soviet war, awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree.[6]
He received his secondary education at the Dnipropetrovsk school No. 79. He graduated from the Dnipro State Institute of Railway Engineers (specialization "Urban Engineer").
Manager. Co-author and host of political programs on ZIK TV channel. He is a regular participant of the bloggers festival.
He was awarded the medal "For Merits to the City" by the Dnieper City Council.[7]
Furthermore, he openly opposes the Revolution of Dignity and does not hide that he was a voter for Yanukovych. He is genuinely homesick for the USSR.[8]
Candidate for People's Deputies from the Servant of the People party in the 2019 parliamentary elections (constituency 25, Checheliv district, part of the Amur-Lower Dnieper district of Dnipro).[9] At the time of the election: the manager of Arna LLC lives in Dnipro. Non-partisan.[10]
Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement.[11]
Member of the "Servant of the People" party.[12] He is known for inciting ethnic hatred and hatred with his speeches against the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and the Ukrainian language, fighters of the Russian-Ukrainian war, including the author of the scandalous bill No. 2362 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts on Education in the State Language in Educational Institutions", which is to repeal the part of the law on languages, which requires the transition of students 5-11 grades of Russian-language schools to the Ukrainian language of instruction from September 1, 2020, virtually violating the Law "On ensuring the functioning of Ukrainian as the state language" No. 5670-d.
On July 16, 2020, Maksym Buzhansky joined the "Myrotvorets" base. Buzhansky's profile on the website Myrotvorets states that his actions "destabilize the situation in the country": "Conscious actions aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation. Manipulation of socially significant information. Participation in anti-Ukrainian propaganda activities. Incitement to ethnic hatred".
