The village is between the two cities of Multan and Khanewal, 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Multan and 20 kilometres (12 mi) west-southwest of Khanewal. Initially founded due to the mass migration between India and Pakistan during the partition. Mahnisial is a farming village, the biggest hub in Kabirwala district, also known for mass agricultural commodities trading within the district.

The village is built next to a main water canal which introduces water into the outer region and farmlands from the river Ravi. Not a great necessity since water is in abundance due the high water levels in the ground. Due to the region possessing dry heat and water in ground, with the right temperatures it’s a hot spot for mango orchids, similar to the all the regions of south Punjab.
