Longqing

Longqing (simplified Chinese: 隆庆; traditional Chinese: 隆慶; pinyin: Lóngqìng; Wade–Giles: Lung-ch'ing; lit. 'great celebration') was the era name of the Ming dynasty of China. This period spanned the years from 9 February 1567 to 1 February 1573. The reigning emperor was the Longqing Emperor (隆慶帝), the 13th Ming emperor.
