Liubashivka Raion

Liubashivka Raion (Liubashivskyi Raion) was a district in Odessa Oblast, Ukraine. Its administrative center was the urban-type settlement of Liubashivka. In 2001 its population was 33,000. The raion was abolished and its territory was merged into Podilsk Raion on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Odessa Oblast to seven. [1][2] The last estimate of the raion population was 29,253 (2020 est.)[3]

The district was primarily Ukrainophone.

Important rivers within Liubashivskyi Raion included the Kodyma and Tyligul Rivers.

The railway connecting Odessa and Kropyvnytskyi crossed the Raion. It had two railway stations (in Zaplazy and Liubashivka).

The district also lied on 2 international highways — route Saint PetersburgKyivOdessa M05 E95; and route Chişinău (Moldova) - Kropyvnytskyi M13 E577.
