Alice L. Pendleton  United States The 228-foot (69 m), 1,349-gross register ton four-masted lumber schooner was abandoned at the Palmer Shipyard on the west side of the Mystic River in Noank, Connecticut, sometime during the 1940s, gradually rotted away, and settled on the river bottom in 10 feet (3.0 m) of water.[1]
Corvan (or Corvin) Flag unknown The cargo ship ran aground on Sow and Pigs Reef in Buzzards Bay off the coast of Massachusetts, drifted off the reef, and sank in 100 feet (30 m) of water 0.5 nautical miles (0.9 km; 0.6 mi) west-northwest of the flashing bell buoy northwest of Penikese Island at either 41°28′12″N 070°58′03″W or 41°28′00″N 070°57′20″W on an unknown date sometime before the U.S. entry into World War II.[2][3][4]
Frode  Norway The cargo ship (750 or 697 GRT, 1917) caught fire and was beached at Loshnell Bay, Oban, Argyllshire, United Kingdom. She was refloated in July 1941, repaired and returned to service.[5]
Guglielmo Marconi  Regia Marina World War II: The submarine (1,195/1,490 t, 1940) failed to return from a patrol. She was lost between 28 October and 4 December.[6][7]
HMS LCP(L) 24  Royal Navy The landing craft personnel (large) was lost sometime in 1941.[8]

Lina B  United States The purse seiner collided with the cargo ship Charles L. Wheeler Jr. ( United States) in fog in the Pacific Ocean near the Farallon Islands off the coast of California. The collision ripped a hole in Lina B.'s bow and disabled her steering gear.[9]
Santiago  United States The 979-gross register ton, 198.1-foot (60.4 m) fuel oil storage barge – a converted bark – began leaking and was beached in Monashka Bay (57°50′N 152°25′W) on the coast of Kodiak Island near Kodiak, Territory of Alaska.[10]
Templar  United States The 17-gross register ton, 39.7-foot (12.1 m) motor vessel was wrecked in Kuskokwim Bay in the Territory of Alaska.[11]
