- Aino Mina Dam and reservoir in the city of Kandahar (mainly for providing fresh water to the city residents).
- Dahan Dara Dam in northwestern Faryab Province.[21]
- Kunar Dam in Surtak in Kunar Province.[22][23]
- Lawari Dam in Kandahar Province.[24]
- Manogi Power Dam in Kunar Province.[25][26]
- Palto Dam in Sharana, Paktika Province.[27]
- Tori Dam in Zabul Province[28]
- Two dams in Baghlan Province.[29] One is named Pul-e-Khumri Dam.[30]
