  1. Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Frozen II premiered in Los Angeles on November 7, 2019,[6][7] and was released on November 22.[8] Made on a production budget of $150 million,[9] it earned $1.450 million worldwide,[10] finishing its theatrical run as the third-highest-grossing film of 2019,[11] the tenth-highest-grossing film of all time,[12] and the second-highest-grossing animated film of all time.[13] On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 78% based on 334 reviews.[14] Frozen II and its soundtrack have received various awards and nominations. It garnered two Golden Globe nominations at the 77th ceremony. The film won one of six nominations at the 49th Annie Awards. At the 92nd Academy Awards, Frozen II received a Best Original Song nomination (for "Into the Unknown").
