Presbytery of Glasgow and Argyll

Abbeygreen Free Church[31] Lesmahagow[32] David S. Carmichael[33] Founded in 1843 at the Disruption and formation of the Free Church of Scotland. The congregation followed the majority of the Free Church into the merger with the United Presbyterian Church at the formation of the United Free Church of Scotland in 1900 and then the majority of the United Free Church when it joined to the Church of Scotland in 1929. The congregation, in unity, left the Church of Scotland on 26 March 2020 and Minister & congregation were re-admitted to the Free Church of Scotland on 31 March 2020.
