Lisa Vanderpump

At age 13, Vanderpump made her film debut in the 1973 romantic comedy A Touch of Class, playing the daughter of Glenda Jackson's character,[6] and also appeared in the 1978 cult horror film Killer's Moon. In the late 1970s, Vanderpump appeared in four episodes of the ITV series Kids, a show about children taken into an assessment centre in the UK. At this time she met a very young Naomi Campbell, who was also cast in the same show.[7]

Throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, Vanderpump had small roles in various episodic television programs. Vanderpump appeared on the television series Silk Stalkings as Coleen Osgood and as Margo Curtis on Baywatch Nights.[8]

Vanderpump was featured in the 1980s music videos "Poison Arrow" and "Mantrap" by the band ABC[9] and also "(What) In The Name of Love" by the duo Naked Eyes.[10] Vanderpump was featured in the 2014 music video for "G.U.Y." by Lady Gaga.[11]

Vanderpump has done over 100 commercials for brands like Maltesers, Lilt, Britvic 55, and Hamlet cigars.[12]

In October 2010, Vanderpump debuted on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and is an original cast member of the show. On June 3, 2019, Vanderpump announced her departure from the show after nine seasons following "Puppygate", a scandal suggesting that Vanderpump was trying to shade co-star Dorit Kemsley for not returning a puppy back to The Vanderpump Dog Foundation.[13]

In January 2013, Vanderpump was featured in a first spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules[14], which focuses on the staff of her West Hollywood restaurants and bars SUR Restaurant & Lounge, Pump Restaurant, and Tom Tom Restaurant & Bar.

In March 2013, Vanderpump competed on the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko.[15][16] They were the second couple eliminated from the competition, leaving in tenth place, on April 9.[17]

In June 2021, Vanderpump was featured in a second spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Dogs, on Peacock, the series follows Vanderpump as she runs her dog rescue center, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation.[18]

Before moving to the US, Vanderpump designed 26 of the London-based bars and restaurants that she co-owned with her husband. The couple currently own 3 restaurants in California. SUR Restaurant & Lounge, the focus of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spin-off Vanderpump Rules, is based in West Hollywood along with Pump Restaurant and Tom Tom Restaurant & Bar.[4][19]

In November 2014, Vanderpump released a line of homewares called The Vanderpump Beverly Hills Collection by Pop Culture Promotions.[20]

In March 2017, Vanderpump was named editor-in-chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine.[21] Vanderpump has since departed her position as edition-in-chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine.

In March 2019, Vanderpump opened Vanderpump Cocktail Garden located in Caesars Palace.[22]

In July 2020, Vanderpump announced that her restaurant Villa Blanca would be closing.[23] Vanderpump had fed the homeless every Monday morning for 13 years from Villa Blanca.[24]

In April 2022, Vanderpump opened Vanderpump à Paris, located in the Paris Las Vegas casino hotel in Nevada.
