Early life and education
Qin received his bachelor's degree and a master's degree in law from Peking University, in 1996 and 1999,[2] respectively, and a second master's degree in public policy from Harvard University in 2001.[3]
Career
From 2003 to 2005, Qin worked as a senior consultant and project manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and as deputy brand manager in the marketing department of Procter & Gamble (Guangzhou) Ltd. He then served as deputy general manager of Anhui Chery Automobile Sales and Service Company from 2005 to 2008. Between 2008 and 2014, Qin was Chief Marketing Officer and executive director of Longfor Properties Co. Ltd, a leading real estate development and investment company in China.[4] Since 2014, he has been co-founder and CEO of NIO.[5]
