Kubikajiri

The Kubikajiri (首かじり) is a ghost in Japanese folklore which to eat the heads of its victims, living or dead, animal or humans.[1] The creature is said to be headless itself and its presence can be distinctively detected by smell fresh blood.[2][1] Late at night,[3] it haunts graveyard late order to look for its own head.[1]
