He attended The John Fisher School as a pupil. Before joining Irish province Ulster ahead of the 2016–17 Pro12 season, Treadwell played for English side Harlequins, having come through their Academy as a youth.[1]

International

He qualifies for Ireland through his Irish mother and represented the country at Under-18 level, before representing England at Under-20 level.[3][4][5] On 16 May 2017, when Ireland Head Coach Joe Schmidt named his squad for the 2017 Summer Tour, he gave Treadwell his first senior international call-up.[6] Having not made an appearance since 2017, he scored his first international try for Ireland in a 57–6 win over Italy during the 2022 Six Nations.[7]
