Kenny Inglis

Kenny Inglis is a musician, composer, and music producer from Glasgow, Scotland.

Career

Kenny's music has featured across a broad spectrum of film and television. His work has featured in U.S. prime time dramas such as Six Feet Under and CSI, feature films, advertisements and video games. He has written for a number of trailers including Polisse, Dead Man Down, Gangster Squad, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, and Fifty Shades Freed.

To date Kenny has scored six BAFTA winning features - The Bridge: Fifty Years Across The Forth (BBC),[1] Violent Men: Behind Bars (C4),[2] Murder Case (Series 1) (BBC),[3] Murder Trial (BBC),[4] Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace (Series 3) (ITV),[5] and Murder Case (Series 2) (BBC) [6]

In 2021, Kenny wrote the new title music for Long Lost Family on ITV, which aired for the first time on July 5.

His collaborations include Elko with Deacon Blue frontman Ricky Ross,[7] Mothmatix with Paul McLinden, Transit with Neil Ormandy, and Moue with Sophie Barker of Zero 7. Inglis appears under various other pseudonyms including Spylab, Kid Grenade, and Koba.

Kenny is also known for his Hearing With My Eyes series of photographic works. He has stated in a number of interviews that his photography is often the inspiration for much of his music, and vice versa.
