Karikala Kannan
Karikala Kannan (960 CE - 1025 CE) was the son of Aditya II, whose mother was Ilamadeviyar. In 971 CE, his father was killed in Kadambur, so he did not get the chance to become the next prince. His paternal uncle Rajaraja I crowned him as a chieftain of Kanchi after he became a King.[1]
