The Calcutta Women's Football League is the oldest women's football league in India. It is based in the city of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) in the state of West Bengal. The league was founded by the Indian Football Association in 1993.[1]

In 2001, the big Kolkata football clubs East Bengal and Mohun Bagan entered their women's teams into the competition. Later by 2003, they withdrew from the tournament.

In 2019, East Bengal again formed its women's team to participate in 2020 Calcutta Women's Football League.[2]
