Kannathil Muthamittal (TV series)

Kannathil Muthamittal (transl. A Peck on The Cheek) is a 2022 Indian Tamil language television drama that airs on Zee Tamil and is digitally available on ZEE5.[1] It stars Manishajith, Divya Padmini and Santhosh in the lead roles with Ammu Ramachandran and Manush.[2] The series premiered on 11 April 2022 and is a remake of Hindi television series Tujhse Hai Raabta.[3]

This is a tale of a bittersweet relationship between a stepmother and a daughter.

Synopsis

Aadhira lives with her parents, Vennila and Madhiazhagan. One day her mother Vennila slips on the balcony and dies and her father Madhiazhagan is jailed. Court gives Aadhira for custody to her father's ex-wife, Subathra who is dominated by her family. Now Aadhira believes that Subathra was the reason for her mothers's and she hates Subathra.[4]
