On December 3, 2021, Gómez accepted his first rostered senior call-up to the United States for a friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Carson, California.[11] On December 18, 2021, Gómez made his international debut in the second half of the match and his shot on goal was rebounded in by Cole Bassett for the United States' 1–0 victory.[12]
