John Waldron (politician)
John Waldron is an American politician and educator serving as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 77th district. He assumed office on November 16, 2018.

Early life and education
Waldron is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in international relations from George Washington University.[1]
Career
From 1991 to 1999, Waldron was a teacher at the School Without Walls in Washington, D.C.[2] Since 1999, he has worked as a social studies teacher at Booker T. Washington High School in the Joe Louis neighborhood of Tulsa. He was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2018 and assumed office on November 16, 2018. Waldron is also the assistant minority floor leader in the House.[3]
