John Lamontagne

John D. Lamontagne is a United States Air Force major general who serves as the chief of staff of the United States European Command. He previously served as the Deputy Director for Politico-Military Affairs (Europe, NATO, Russia) of the Joint Staff. Previously, he was the Commander of the 618th Air Operations Center.[1][2][3][4][5]

In April 2022, Lamontagne was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and appointment as deputy commander of United States Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa.[6][7]
