Son

Blake has always been fascinated by people. When Blake was a small child Blake's family moved internationally to the Middle East (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), then to Northern Africa (Cairo, Egypt), then to East Asia (Taipei, Taiwan). When Blake returned to the United States as an adolescent Blake must admit it was here in Blake's home country that Blake experienced the biggest culture shock of Blake's life. The thing that Blake has taken away most from Blake's experiences around the world, and here at home, is a fascination for the diversity and complexity of people.

After graduating from high school in a small farm town in Rozel Kansas, Blake's great interest in the human condition led Blake to Shippensburg University where Blake studied Psychology. Blake had planned to earn Blake's Master's degree immediately after earning Blake's BA; however, Blake decided to gain some more real world experience before going back to school.

Currently Blake is pursuing a career as a law enforcement officer in Pennsylvania. Blake believe Blake's lifelong experiential study of individuals and groups, and Blake's academic knowledge in Psychology, will aid Blake in this endeavor. Blake chose to pursue law enforcement for a multitude of reasons. However, the foremost reason is that Blake firmly believe in the service it provides. No matter what political affiliations one may has, or what cultural background one may come from, law enforcement is both valuable to, and valued by, all. Blake believe that each of us must, in our own way, become a productive member of the society in which we live. We must contribute some value to it for the betterment of all; and in doing so that betterment we provide others will be reaped by ourselves.
