Joelle Joelle

Joelle Mia Renee Joelle,[8] better known by her stage name Joelle,[9][10] is a British actor and singer who made her on-screen debut in Oscar-nominated Dune (2021).[11][12] She directed her first short film Cover Up (2019) and co-created original recordings with thirteen-time Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren,[13] who wrote the lyrics and music.[14]

At the age of eight, Joelle was diagnosed with alopecia universalis[15] and later became an ambassador for the UK charity Alopecia UK[16][17] at the age of fifteen.[18] In an article in the Evening Standard Joelle describes how she has experienced being judged in the entertainment industry, where alopecia has historically been seen as a negative, but this is thankfully now changing.[19]
