Jesús R Rodríguez Cordoba (born 15 June 1949) is a Cuban chess International master (IM) (1977).

Biography
In the begin of 1970s to the begin of 1980s Jesús Rodríguez Cordoba was one of Cuba's leading chess players. He has participated in the Cuban Chess Championships many times. In 1969 Jesús Rodríguez Cordoba participated in Capablanca Memorial.[1]
Jesús Rodríguez Cordoba played for Cuba in the Chess Olympiads:[2]
- In 1972, at first board in the 20th Chess Olympiad in Skopje (+1, =10, -3),
- In 1974, at third board in the 21st Chess Olympiad in Nice (+7, =6, -4).
Jesús Rodríguez Cordoba played for Cuba in the World Student Team Chess Championships:[3]
- In 1963, at first board in the 10th World Student Team Chess Championship in Budva (+4, =3, -2),
- In 1964, at first board in the 11th World Student Team Chess Championship in Kraków (+2, =4, -0),
- In 1966, at first board in the 13th World Student Team Chess Championship in Örebro (+3, =5, -2).
Jesús Rodríguez Cordoba played for Cuba in the CACAC Team Chess Championships and twice in row won team gold (1972, 1973).[4]
In 1977, Jesús Rodríguez Cordoba was awarded the FIDE International Master (IM) title.
