Bradley sponsored legislation that would phase out net metering for rooftop solar panels.[1] The legislation would undermine the solar industry in Florida while benefiting competing energy companies.[1] On October 18, 2021, a lobbyist from Florida Power & Light texted Bradley's staff a bill to reduce net metering for solar power, and two days later FPL's parent company gave $10,000 to Bradley's political committee. The following month Bradley filed a bill almost identical to the one FPL wrote for her.[2]
