Jasmin Bhasin

Jasmin Bhasin (born 28 June 1990) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Hindi television shows. She is known for playing Twinkle Taneja in Tashan-e-Ishq (2015-16) and Teni Bhanushali in Dil Se Dil Tak (2017-18). She also participated in reality shows like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and Bigg Boss 14.

Early life

Bhasin was born to a Sikh family in Kota, Rajasthan on 28 June 1990.[1] She completed her schooling from Kota.[2] She graduated from a hospitality college in Jaipur.[3]

Personal life

Jasmin Bhasin met Aly Goni during Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in 2018. Later the two begun dating each other in 2021.[4][5]

Career

Bhasin started her career with the Tamil film Vaanam in 2011.[6] She then acted in a few more South Indian films like Beware of Dogs, Veta and Ladies & Gentlemen.[7]

In August 2015, she made her television debut with Zee TV's Tashan-e-Ishq as Twinkle Taneja.[8]

In January 2017, she played Teni in Colors TV's Dil Se Dil Tak.[9][10]

In 2019, she participated in the stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 on Colors TV.[11] She began portraying Happy Mehra in Star Plus's Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji from January 2019 and in June 2019, she got replaced by Donal Bisht.[12]

In December 2019, she started playing Nayantara in Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel on Colors TV until her role ended two months later in February 2020.[13]

In August 2020, she participated in Colors TV's Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made In India.[14] In October 2020, she participated in Colors TV's Bigg Boss 14.[15]

In 2021, she did several Hindi and Punjabi songs.[16]

In January 2022, Bhasin started shooting for her first Punjabi film Honeymoon in Chandigarh opposite Gippy Grewal. It is directed by Amarpreet Chhabra and jointly produced by T-Series and Baweja Movies.[17] The filming completed in London in April 2022[18]

Bhasin was ranked in The Times of India's Most Desirable Women of Indian Television at No. 16[19] in 2018, No. 12[20] in 2019 and No. 3[21] in 2020.
