Janvadi Party (Socialist)

The Janvadi Party (Socialist) or Janwadi Party (Socialist) (abbr. JP(S)) is an Indian Political Party founded by Sanjay Singh Chauhan in 2004 in Uttar Pradesh.[1] Party had been previously an ally of Bharatiya Janata Party,[2][3] Bahujan Samaj Party[4][5] and since 2019, Party is an ally of Samajwadi Party for 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.[6][7][8][9][10]

Assembly Elections

2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election

Since 2019 Indian general election JP(S) was an ally of Samajwadi Party and in 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election they decided to be in Alliance but the Alliance broken on the matter of seat-sharing before the election.[11][12]

2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election

Janvadi Party (Socialist) allied with All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party, Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Janata Dal (Democratic) and named the alliance Grand Democratic Secular Front.[13][14][15] Party contested 5 seats but could not win any one of them.

2012 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election

In 2012 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election Janvadi Party (Socialist) allied with Bharatiya Janata Party.[16][17] They fought 5 seats only but cannot win any one of them.[16]

2007 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election

Janvadi Party was an Ally of Bharatiya Janata Party in 2007 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election and fought on 18 seats but couldn't win any one of them.
