Jamie Ritchie (baseball)
Jamie Ritchie (born April 9, 1993) is an American professional baseball catcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.

Ritchie played college baseball at Belmont for three seasons. As a junior, he batted .302 with 58 hits, 13 doubles, six home runs and a team-high 38 RBIs.[1]
Ritchie was selected in the 13th round by the Houston Astros in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[2] After signing with the team he was assigned to the Tri-City ValleyCats of the New York–Penn League.[3] Ritchie began the 2015 season with the to the Class A Quad Cities River Bandits, where he was named a Midwest League All-Star, before being promoted to the Class A-Advanced Lancaster JetHawks.[4] Ritchie returned to Lancaster for the 2016 season.[5] Ritchie spent the 2017 season with the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks and started 2018 with the team before being promoted to the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies.[6][7] He played for the Triple-A Round Rock Express in 2019 and was a member of the Astros 60-man player pool in 2020 after the minor league season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[8] Ritchie elected for free agency at the end of the 2020 season.[9]
Ritchie signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on January 11, 2021.[10] He was assigned to the Triple-A Reno Aces to start the 2021 Minor League season.[11]
Pittsburgh Pirates
On November 28, 2021, Ritchie signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates.[12]
