Isono Kazumasa

Isono Kazumasa (磯野 員昌, 1534–1583) was a senior retainer of the Azai clan and the castle lord in command of Sawayama castle.[1]

In this Japanese name, the surname is Isono.

At Battle of Anegawa (1570), he fought against Oda forces under Oda samurai, Sakai Masahisa.

After the Battle of Anegawa, he became a vassal of the Oda clan but later he became a priest in Mount Kōya.[1]
