Ishita Dutta

Ishita Dutta Sheth (born 26 August 1990) is an Indian actress and model who works in Hindi films and television serials. Dutta made her television debut in 2013 with Star Plus's soap opera Ek Ghar Banaunga as Poonam. Two years later, she made her Bollywood debut with Drishyam (2015).[1]

She made her film debut in 2012 with the Telugu flim Chanakyudu, made her Kannada debut with Yenidu Manasali and appeared in Hindi films including Firangi, Setters and Blank.

Ishita appeared in lead role in various television shows including Rishton Ka Saudagar - Baazigar as Arundhati Trivedi, Bepanah Pyaar as Pragati/ Bani Malhotra and Thoda sa Baadal Thoda sa Paani as Kajol Mukherjee.

Early life

Dutta was raised in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in a Bengali Hindu family.[3] She attended D.B.M.S. English School in Jamshedpur, and studied Media Studies in Mumbai. Her sister, Tanushree Dutta, is also a model/actress known for winning the Femina Miss India title (2004).[4]

She married her boyfriend and co-star Vatsal Sheth on 28 November 2017 in Mumbai.[5][6][7]
