Iowa's 1st Senate district

The 1st District of the Iowa Senate, located in northwestern Iowa, is currently composed of Clay County, Dickinson County, Lyon County, Osceola County and Palo Alto County.[1]

Republican Dave Rowley is the senator currently representing the 1st District, completing the term of Zach Whiting, who resigned in 2021.[2]

The area of the 1st District contains two Iowa House of Representatives districts:[3]

The district is also located in Iowa's 4th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra.[4]
