Ilias Bulaid
Ilias Bulaid (born May 1, 1995 in Den Bosch, Netherlands) is a Moroccan-Dutch featherweight kickboxer and mixed martial artist. Ilias was the 2016 65 kg K-1 World Tournament Runner-Up, and is also a former Enfusion 67 kg World Champion.[2]

He was first ranked as a top ten Featherweight by Combat Press in January 2016,[3] and was last ranked in the top ten in August 2019, before being dropped from the rankings in September 2019.[4]
In December 2018, Bulaid announced that he had signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator, and that he would now compete as a mixed martial artist.
Martial arts career
Kickboxing career
Bulaid won the Enfusion 67 kg title with a knockout win over Zaid Zairov during Enfusion 23.[5]
He made his first Enfusion title defense during Enfusion 30, when he fought Simón Santana. Bulaid won the fight in the first round with a high knee knockout.[6] He made his second Enfusion title defense with a unanimous decision win over Edye Ruiz.[7]
Bulaid participated in the 2016 K-1 Lightweight Tournament.[8] In the quarter finals he faced Chris Mauceri, whom he defeated in the second round with a body shot knockout. In the semi finals he faced the former two-weight Krush champion Hideaki Yamazaki. The fight went into an extra round, where Ilias won a decision. In the finals he fought Kaew Fairtex. Kaew won the fight in the second round, knocking Bulaid out with a knee to the body.[9][10]
Ilias fought Qiu Jianliang during Glory of Heroes 5, losing the fight by a unanimous decision.[11]
Bulaid made his third Enfusion title defense against Zakaria Zouggary.[12] Bulaid won the fight by a unanimous decision.
During Fight League 6, Ilias fought the former WBC Muaythai and Rajadamnern Stadium champion Manaowan Sitsongpeenong. Bulaid won the fight in the first round, with a spinning body kick knockout.[13]
He participated in the Wu Lin Feng 67 kg Contender Tournament. In the quarter finals he won a unanimous decision against Petchtanong Banchamek, and a unanimous decision against Xie Lei in the semi finals, before losing a split decision to Hasan Toy in the tournament final.[14]
Bulaid's last fight for Enfusion was in September 2018, when he won a unanimous decision against Youssef El Haji. Following this fight, Bulaid underwent a successful knee surgery.[15][16]
Mixed martial arts career
Bulaid signed his first MMA contract with Bellator MMA, and made his professional debut in September 2019, during Bellator 227 against Vitalic Maiboroda.[17] Bulaid won the fight by a first round KO.[18]
He had his second fight with Bellator during Bellator 240, when he fought Diego Freitas. Bulaid won the fight by a unanimous decision.[19]
Bulaid faced Georges Sasu at Bellator 270 on November 5, 2021.[20] He won the bout via split decision.[21]
