Gameplay
Format
Presented with a group of seven "mystery singers" identified only by their occupation, a guest artist and contestant must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of four rounds. At the end of the game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.[1][2]
Rewards
If the singer is good, the contestant wins €5.000; if the singer is bad, the same amount is given to the bad singer instead.
Rounds
Each episode presents the guest artist and contestant seven people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.
- Visual round
- First impression (Dutch: Eerste indruk)
The guest artist and contestant are given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance.[lower-alpha 1][lower-alpha 2][lower-alpha 3]
- Witness (Dutch: Bewijs)
The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video clue package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications. Good singers are telling the truth, while bad singers are allowed to lie to deceive them.[lower-alpha 1][lower-alpha 2][lower-alpha 3]
- Lip sync round
- Lip sync (Dutch: Lipsynchronisatie)
Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song. Good singers mime to a recording of their own performance, while bad singers mime to a recording of someone's else.[lower-alpha 1][lower-alpha 2][lower-alpha 3]
- Rehearsal round
- Secret studio (Dutch: Geheime studio)
The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video recording from a studio session by one of the mystery singers, although the audio is pitch-shifted so they cannot clearly hear their vocals.[lower-alpha 2][lower-alpha 3]
- Interrogation round
- Interrogation (Dutch: De ondervraging)
The guest artist and contestant can converse and ask questions of one of the remaining mystery singers. As before, good singers must answer truthfully, while bad singers might lie.[lower-alpha 1]

Production
Background and development
RTL Nederland first announced the development of the series in March 2020.[3] Produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production,[4] the staff team is managed by executive producer Pieter Cerutti and producer Marlous Westerveld.
Filming
Filmings for the series took place on multiple locations — Studio Mediahaven in Amsterdam held the first season; and then Studio's Aalsmeer in Aalsmeer held since the second season. Since the first season, tapings have been implemented health and safety protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Broadcast
History
I Can See Your Voice has an initial debut broadcast on 8 May 2020.[5] However, it was delayed and happened on 29 October 2020.[6][7] A day after the first-season finale, the series has been already renewed for the second season[8] that started on 22 April 2021.[9][10] The Voice of Holland would go on hiatus by indefinitely suspending broadcasts for the twelfth season[11][12] due to sexual misconduct allegations by members of the production staff,[13][14] paving the way for the third season that started on 21 January 2022,[15][16] instead of an initial premiere date on 17 February 2022.[17]
Special episode
For the third time (since Giọng ải giọng ai), kids have become mystery singers when fellow child guest artist Silver Metz played in final episode of the second season.[18][19]
Cast
The series employs a team of "celebrity panelists" who decipher mystery singers' evidences throughout the game. Alongside with full-timers and additional ones, guest panelists also appear since the first season. Throughout its broadcast, the programme has assigned 7 different panelists. The original members consist of Marieke Elsinga, Ronnie Flex, Samantha Steenwijk, Jeroen van Koningsbrugge, and Fred van Leer.[20] Beside with original cast, later additions also include Danny de Munk and Edsilia Rombley (from second season).[21]
