Henrica is a genus of fungi in the family Verrucariaceae.[1]

The genus name of Henrica is in honour of Joseph Marie Henry (1870 - 1947),who was an Italian clergyman, (amateur-) botanist (Lichenology) and mountain climber.[2]

The genus was circumscribed by Maurice Léopold Joseph Bouly de Lesdain in Bull. Soc. Bot. France vol.68 on page 206 in 1921.
