Hendon Hooker
Alan Hendon Hooker (born January 13, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the Tennessee Volunteers. He previously played for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

High school career
Hooker attended James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. During his high school career he passed for 6,027 yards with 55 touchdowns and rushed for 2,975 yards and 48 touchdowns. He committed to Virginia Tech to play college football.[1][2]
College career
Hooker played at Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2020.[3][4] He started 15 of 25 games, completing 197 of 312 passes for 2,894 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions.[5] In 2021 he transferred to the University of Tennessee.[6][7] He entered the season as the backup to Joe Milton before becoming the starter.[8]
