Haute Cabrière

Haute Cabrière is a vineyard estate located in Franschhoek, South Africa. The estate's history dates back to more than 300 years with the Huguenot settlers from France in the Franschhoek Valley in 1694 by French Huguenot, Pierre Jourdan. Haute Cabrière primarily grows Chardonnay and Pinot noir grape varietals. Along with still wines they also produce Cap Classique wines, which are sparkling wines made using the same technique of that of Champagne using double fermentation and dosage. These wines are labelled under 'Pierre Jourdan'. This Méthode Cap Classique style of sparkling wine is part of Haute Cabrière’s DNA and was the first range ever produced by the winery.
