Harjit Kaur Talwandi

Harjit Kaur Talwandi is an Indian politician and member of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt).[1][2][3] She is currently serving as the President of the Women's Wing of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt).[4] Harjit is the daughter of Jagdev Singh Talwandi, former President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Shiromani Akali Dal.

Personal life

Talwandi was born in 1956, to father Jagdev Singh Talwandi and mother Mohinder Kaur. She has three siblings, including Secretary General of Shiromani Akali Dal(Sanyukt) Ranjit SIngh Talwandi. She was made the President of Women's Wing of Shiromani Akal Dal (Sanyukt) by the party chief Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.[5]
