Hagen Kearney

Hagen Kearney (born November 6, 1991) is an American snowboarder who competes internationally.[1]

He competed for the US at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada, Spain, where he won a gold medal in the men's snowboard team cross, along with Nick Baumgartner.

He competed for the US at the XXIII Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, where he placed 13th overall in the Men's Snowboard Cross.

Kearney was reported to repeatedly use the "N Word" to intimidate Callan Chythlook-Sifsof, a snowboarder from Alaska who identifies as Yupik and Inupiaq.[2] At the Olympic qualifier in Canada, Callan Chythlook-Sifsof remarked that "At one point, she said, Hagen "cupped his hands to his mouth and yelled the n-word on repeat about 20 times as we walked."[3]
