Georgii Pfeiffer
Georgii Pfeiffer also Yurii Pfeiffer (Russian: Гео́ргий Васи́льевич Пфе́йффер) (23 December 1872, Sokirincy, Chernigov Governorate, Russian Empire – 10 October 1946 Kiev, USSR (now Kyiv, Ukraine)) was a Russian Imperial and Soviet mathematician of German origin. Pfeiffer was known as a specialist in the field of integration of differential equations and systems of partial differential equations.[1] He was also interested in algebraic geometry.

He was an Invited Speaker of the ICM in 1908 at Rome,[2] in 1928 at Bologna,[3][4][5] and in 1932 at Zurich.
