Flower of Evil (Philippine TV series)

Flower of Evil is an upcoming Philippine television drama series based on the 2020 South Korean drama series of the same title starring Piolo Pascual and Lovi Poe.[1] The series will premiere on Primetime Bida on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, and worldwide via The Filipino Channel in 2022.

Synopsis

Changing his identity, the male lead character leaves his past behind and marries. His past threatens to surface as his wife, a police detective, begins to look into a murder case.[2]

Development

The series was announced on September 16, 2021 when Lovi Poe newly transferred to ABS-CBN and Piolo Pascual returned to his home network. A story conference started on November 21, 2021.[3] On 4 February 2022, it was revealed that the series was in the midst of its principal photography.[4][2]

Casting

Lovi Poe and Piolo Pascual were cast in their lead roles after signing with the network on September 16, 2021.[1]

On November 21, 2021, the rest of the cast were announced at the same schedule as the story conference.[3]

Marketing

A short teaser of the series was shown including other upcoming projects for Dreamscape Entertainment in 2022.
