Field hockey at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will take place at the Stade Yves-du-Manoir. Twenty-four teams (twelve each for men and women) will compete in the tournament.[1]

Qualification

The qualification criteria were approved by the IOC on 30 March 2022. Each of the Continental Champions from the five confederations receives an automatic berth. France as the host nation qualified automatically because both the men's and the women's team had a high enough position in the FIH World Rankings. In addition, the remaining six nations are to be determined by two olympic qualification tournaments.[2][1][3]
