Federal University, Otuoke

The Federal University Otuoke[1] is a federal[2] governmen[3]t-owned University sited in Otuoke, a town in Ogbia local government area[4] of Bayelsa State,[5] Southern Nigeria.[6][7] The university is one of the nine new Federal Universities established by the Federal Government of Nigeria[8][9] in February 2011 under the administration[10] of president, Dr Goodluck Jonathan.[11][12] Federal University Otuoke is suited in the heart of the oil-rich Niger-Delta Region of Bayelsa State.[13] The university was established in 2011 and started with 282 pioneer students.[14] The university[15] currently have six (6) faculties and offers degree courses at undergraduate levels.[16] The university offers undergraduate programs[17] in the faculty of Science, Management Science, [18]Social Science and Humanities,[19] Education, Engineering and Technology. The university is a Partner of Sustainable Public Procurement.[20]
