History

The first season will feature eight teams from Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus and Russia, including several national medalists with wide regional and international experience.

Future expansion

The league eye a further expansion in 2022 to create a 16 team tournament with two groups – Baltic Sea division/North Sea division, by adding teams from Nordic and Benelux countries.[3]
