Ethis operates investment platforms approved by regulators in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Dubai, and also run a charity platform Global Sadaqah which has been recognised with numerous award including the Global Islamic Finance Awards.

Parent company Ethis Global Sdn Bhd is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with branches in Jakarta and Oman.

It has a growing community of 20,000+ ethical and crowd-investors and donors from 50+ countries.

Ethis is best known for providing funding for social housing development projects in Indonesia.

In Indonesia, Ethis.co/id is licensed by the Financial Services Authority to operate its P2P financing platform where it provides Shariah-complaint (participatory and sustainable) financing to SMEs and projects.

In Malaysia, Ethis.co/my is licensed by Securities Commission to operate its Equity Crowdfunding platform to raise funds for Malaysian companies.

Also part of Ethis group is GlobalSadaqah.com which is social finance marketplace focused on matching credible charities and social enterprises to corporate, high-networth and public donors and supporters.

Investment

Ethis raised a pre-seed round worth US$363,000 in 2016.[1] Investors include Singapore-based venture fund Quest Ventures.

In late 2020, it raised close to US$1,000,000 in seed rounds for subsidiaries Ethis Malaysia and Global Sadaqah.

Partnership

It won a partnership with Islamic Development Bank to raise $1Million to fight avoidable blindness in the African continent.[2]

It is actively participated in United Nations Global compact since January 2016[3] by committing to sustainability, business can take shared responsibility for achieving a better world.
