Erol Kahraman
Erol Kahraman is a British-born Canadian and Turkish ice hockey player and football player of Turkish Cypriot origin.[1]

Early life
Kahraman was born on January 2, 1983,[2] in London, England, to Turkish Cypriot parents.[3][4] At a young age, he emigrated with his parents to Kitchener, Canada, where he was encouraged to play ice hockey with his Canadian-born cousins.[5]

Clubs
Kahraman's formal ice hockey education began with Kitchener Minor Hockey before he eventually landed with the Grande Prairie Kings. He then played with the Elmira Sugar Kings.[5] After his junior career, Kahraman played for senior hockey's Tavistock Royals and the Lucknow Lancers.[5] He then moved to Turkey to play professionally with the Ankara Panthers of the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League.[5]
International
In 2011 Kahraman was chosen to play in the Turkish men's national ice hockey team at the 2011 Winter Universiade held in Erzurum, Turkey.[6] At the 2015 World Ice Hockey Championship Kahraman was named the best goalkeeper of the final match.[3]
Football career
In addition to his ice hockey career, Kahraman has been based in Northern Cyprus where he was signed with Bostancı Bağcıl S.K. football club between 2012 and 2019.[2]
