Biography
Destari Mustafa Pasha, like many of his contemporaries, received education in Enderun. The pasha, who served in various state levels such as Mirahorluk, Beylerbeyliği, Grand Viziership, Dome Vizier and Vizier, was also a groom to the palace. He was married to Ayşe Sultan, sister of Ahmed I.[1] With her he had son and two daughters.
The tomb of Destari Mustafa Pasha, who was killed in 1614, is located in the courtyard of Şehzadebaşı Mosque in Fatih district of Istanbul.[2] According to other sources, he died in 1610.[3] In 1611 his tomb was built.
