Biography

On 2 August 1611 (3rd year reign of Gwanghaegun of Joseon, her future father in-law), Park was chosen as a Crown Princess Consort to the Crown Prince (왕세자빈, 王世子嬪)[3] and then married with Gwanghaegun's son, Crown Prince Yi Ji. Later, on 19 December 1614, she gave birth to their first daughter but died suddenly after the birth.[4]

Meanwhile, on 13 March 1623, Park was deposed from her position along with her in-law's family and got exiled to Ganghwa-do.[5] Her family was exiled too and some of them was beheaded. However, when they tried to get out from there, they was caught by the royal troops and got killed.[6] At this time, Park was already 26 years old. Not long after that, she later died in May 1623 in her exile's place. Park didn't receive a posthumous name because she was deposed from her position.
