Club career

Having started his football with the club of FK Metta in his native Latvia, Dario Šits joined the Parma academy in 2020. First joining the under-17, he quickly made the step to the Primavera, with whom he became a prolific goalscorer during the 2021–22 season, whilst he earned his first calls to the professional squad.[2]

He made his professional debut for Parma on the 2 March 2022, starting the 1–1 Serie B away draw against AC Monza, as a second striker behind Adrian Benedyczak.[2] He already proved to be decisive for its second game with the club, coming on as a substitute against Cittadella, earning Parma a penalty, during this 1–1 league draw.[3]
