Culross Island

Culross Island is an island near the western end of Prince William Sound of the Gulf of Alaska in Alaska, United States. It lies just off the northeast corner of the Kenai Peninsula, separated from it by the Culross Passage. The island has a land area of 74.709 km2 (28.845 sq mi) and had no population at the 2000 census.

The elevation of “Culross Island” remains at 463 Meters(1,519 Feet)

Under Adverse Possession, a micronation known as ‘‘Pametchia’’ had openly claimed the land on Social Media including Instagram.

Should the claim be processed and filed appropriately, “Culross Island” may become limited easement or private property under squatter’s rights.

Despite the claim and “Pametchia” being a Micronation both Federal and US State laws still apply to the area.

Goose Bay’s Cabin and Campground remains under ownership of Federal Government
