Craig Chalmers
Craig Minto Chalmers (born 15 October 1968) is a former Scotland international rugby union player. He was also a rugby union coach, but now has a business career.

Rugby union career
Amateur career
He played for Melrose.
After his stint with Harlequins, he moved back into amateur rugby playing with the Pertemps Bees.
He finished his playing career in March 2005 as captain and player-coach with Melrose, where his club career began.[1][2]
Provincial and professional career
He played for South of Scotland District.
When the South District turned professional as the Border Reivers, he then played for them. That team disbanded in 1998 and he moved to Edinburgh Rugby for a season, before moving to Glasgow Warriors for another season.
English sides came calling and he then turned out for Worcester Warriors and Harlequins.
International career
He was capped by Scotland 'B' twice in the period 1988–89.
As a player, he represented Scotland, the British Lions and the Barbarians at international level. He was capped 60 times for Scotland, 56 times in his preferred position of fly-half, but on occasion at centre and once as a substitute on the right wing. He was noted for his tactical kicking, support play, game management, & tackling which was something that fly halves of his time were not noted for.
Coaching career
He was coach of Melrose from 2004 to 2013.
He then coached Chinnor RFC and then Esher RFC in England to 2015.
Business career
He was a marketing manager for Scottish Power from 1988 to 1996, before turning professional when rugby union went professional in Scotland.[3]
He moved into security with Ward Security when his coaching post with Esher RFC ended.[3]
He is now a business development consultant for Portal Security.[3]
Family
His sister Paula Chalmers played for the Scottish Women's rugby team and achieved an even higher number of caps.[4]
