Corp Sayvee

Saviour Kwaku Adzika (born 25 April 1984), popularly known as Corp Sayvee, is a Ghanaian hiplife recording artist from Takoradi. He is well known for his single "Fantefo Na Brofoa".[1][2]

Early life

Corp Sayvee, the fourth of six children, was born and raised in Takoradi to parents Mr. and Mrs. Adzika. He first attended Naval Base Basic in Takoradi where he completed his Junior Secondary School level. He then gained admission into Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS). He is an alumnus of University of Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.[3][4]

Music career

Sayvee became active in Ghana's music industry in 2003. He was signed to Hammer's music group, The Last Two in 2005.[5]

In 2008, he launched his maiden album titled "Time to Love" in Takoradi. Corp Sayvee has worked with Ghanaian artists including Sarkodie, Jupitar, Castro, Kwabena Kwabena, Keche, Quata, Atsu Koliko, Nero X[6] among others.[7][8]

Corp Tour

Corp Sayvee started Corp Tour in 2017 to educate the youth on the benefits and challenges of their chosen fields of endeavor.[9] Additionally, the programme mentors youth to be good role models and responsible leaders through a series of educational speeches and entertainment programmes.[10][11] The target group is basically second cycle institutions. Corp Tour has made sessions with two schools in the Western Region of Ghana; Ghana Secondary Technical School and Fijai Senior High School.[12][13]

CorpNation & CSR

Sayvee's philantropicity led him to start CorpNation Foundation in April 2021; CorpNation seeks to;[14]

  • Improve employability potential for young people, especially youth in the catchment areas of the two parties.
  • Promote entrepreneurship among graduate and non-graduate youth as pathways to employment.
  • Promote the development of new research: In the long term.
  • Promote research in areas that have the potential economic benefit and can be turned into businesses.

Since he started his social responsibility mission he has been honoured with the Social Responsibility Person Award at the 2021 Fontomfrom Amandze Awards.

He was also appointed by the Takoradi Technical University to serve on the advisory committee of the Communication And Media Section Programmes[15]

CorpNation Achievements

Since its inauguration, CorpNation has achieved the following.[15]

  • Established community-based Youth Club (Corporate Youth Club).
  • In association with Ghana Forestry Commission have planted 5 million trees during their Green Ghana project.
  • Launched a Community Cleanup and Sensitization Exercise in Sekondi-Takoradi.
  • Created an inter-Community football League in Takoradi.
  • Partner and signed an MoU with Takoradi Technical University’s Center for Languages and Liberal Studies (CELLIBS) to enable;
    1. Improve employability potential for young people, especially youth in the catchment areas of the two parties.
    2. Promote entrepreneurship among graduate and non-graduate youth as pathways to employment.
    3. Promote the development of new research: In the long term, promote research in areas that have the potential economic benefit and can be turned into businesses.
